‘1400 people have died in terror attacks in Pak in 15 months’

From January 2008 to March 2009,seven terror incidents occurred in Islamabad,in which 87 people were killed.

As many as 1,395 people were killed during 1,942 terror attacks in the last 15 months,the Parliament was informed. According to details,a compensation of Rs 250 million were paid to terror victims in Islamabad and other four provinces.

During last 12 months,Rs 28 million were paid to terror victims in Islamabad,Rs 103 million in Punjab,Rs 70 million in Sindh,Rs 99 million in NWFP and Rs 47 million in Balochistan,the report said.
