Indian golfer Digvijay Singh was among the select few who managed to break par with a two-under 70 to share the 16th spot after the third and penultimate round of the Taiwan Mercuries Masters golf tournament here on Saturday.
In a tournament where under-par cards have come at a premium,Digvijay’s overall total stood at five-over 221.
Rahil Gangjee was the next best-placed Indian at tied 28th with a total of eight-over 224 after carding a 78 on Saturday.
Himmat Rai lay at the bottom of the heap at the 56th position after a disastrous 84 left his overall total at 16-over 232.
Bangladesh’s Siddikur Rehman grabbed the lead with the day’s best card of 67 which took his total to five-under 211.
Thai Pariya Junhasavasdikul (70) took the second spot with a total of 212.
