England declared their first innings at a mammoth score 710 for seven in reply to India’s 224 all out on day three of the third cricket Test at Edgbaston here today.

For England,Alastair Cook scored a career-best 294 and soin after his dismissal captain Andrew Strauss declared their innings.

India now trail England by a huge 486 runs with two full days still remaining in the match.
