Supporting WADA's much-debated "whereabouts" clause,Beijing Olympic bronze medal-winning pugilist Vijender Singh said he faced no problems in complying with it.

Supporting WADA’s much-debated “whereabouts” clause that has been rejected by the Cricket Board,Beijing Olympic bronze medal-winning pugilist Vijender Singh,on Wednesday said he faced no problems in complying with it.

“We (boxers) had signed the clause some 6-7 years ago. Abhi tak WADA se koi panga nahi hua hain (Till now we have not faced any problems from WADA),” Singh told reporters here. “Cricketers know best about their worries, but I have not lost my freedom till now,” he said on the sidelines of a promotional event for Body and Mind-2009 conference.

BCCI had rejected the clause after its top cricketers, including India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar had expressed their displeasure over the clause citing security concerns and infringement of their privacy.

As per the “Whereabouts” clause some select cricketers belonging to various boards needed to inform the anti-doping authorities their whereabouts for the next three months each quarter in a year and be ready to be tested any day.
