Massa has no problems teaming with Hamilton

Felipe Massa says he would have no problem driving alongside Lewis Hamilton in a future Ferrari team.

Felipe Massa says he would have no problem driving alongside Lewis Hamilton in a future Ferrari team amid speculation that the world champion may be looking to switch camps next season.

Hamilton,24,is into the second year of a five-year contract with McLaren, and has repeatedly said that he would be happy to spend his career with the English team.

But he was quoted in a British newspaper on Wednesday as saying: “I haven’t had offers from other teams and I am not talking to anyone.

“But I would listen to an offer from another team if someone asked me. It would be a great compliment and it would be silly if I did not.”

Massa, who lost last year’s championship to Hamilton by a point in the final Brazilian Grand Prix, was asked in Melbourne on Thursday for his reaction to Hamilton not discounting an early departure from McLaren-Mercedes.

“I drove alongside Michael (Schumacher),I drove alongside Kimi (Raikkonen) and I’ve heard for some time that Fernando (Alonso) will come to Ferrari,he’s just another one,I don’t care,” Massa quipped at a press conference.

“(MotoGP champion) Valentino Rossi as well and maybe my father will drive for Ferrari next year.”
