Pakistan justified unpredictable side tag by losing T20 against Windies: Qadir

Pakistan are scheduled to play five one-dayers and two Tests against during the Caribbean tour.

Pakistan have proved that they are appropriately tagged as an unpredictable side,by losing to the West Indies in their inaugural Twenty20 international clash on Thursday,former Test player and spin maestro Abdul Qadir has said.The West Indies won the only Twenty20 match against Pakistan by seven runs in St Lucia. Pakistan are also scheduled to play five one-dayers and two Tests against the hosts during the Caribbean tour.By losing to West Indies,Pakistan have proved their label of an unpredictable side correct,The News quoted Qadir,as telling PPI.Pakistan should improve itself and players should start taking responsibility. irresponsible shots as Ahmed Shahzad and Misbah-ul-Haq played during the T20 match, he pointed out.While Pakistan took their full-fledged team to the Caribbean,the West Indies do not have their experienced players like Chris Gayle,Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan playing in the series.One could have assessed before the match that West Indies dont have any players apart from (Devendra) Bishoo,(Lendl) Simmons and (Darren) Bravo,who had featured in the World Cup. So Pakistan should have planned to tackle these players. If Pakistan had devised a plan and have tried to tackle these three players,they should have certainly won the match, said Qadir.He also said that the 2011 World Cup semi-finalists Pakistan should have now become a stable team,and should send the message throughout the world that they are as consistent as Australia,India and Sri Lanka.Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is trying to portray the image of Pakistan as among world class teams but performance like this one would damage every thing, Qadir said.

Pakistan should lift their game and play responsibly,and send the message to the world that they are among the top cricket teams of the World, he advised.
