Seven Indians held in Nepal

Police claimed that the seven were involved in a slew of incidents of theft,looting and cheating people.

Nepalese police have arrested seven Indians,including a woman,for their alleged involvement in a series of incidents of theft,looting and cheating people in Kathmandu.

Those arrested are aged between 18 and 22 and hail from Bihar,the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Circle said in a statement here today.

It claimed that the seven were involved in a slew of incidents of theft,looting and cheating people at different places in Kathmandu.

Police recovered from them Nepali Rs 1.28 Lakh and Indian Rs 23,000.

The suspects allegedly looted a laptop and Rs 50,000 from a cyber cafe and some gold ornaments from a woman,apart from being involved in several other incidents,police said.
