Take one game at a time is Yuvraj’s mantra for success in IPL

With the race to the semi-finals hotting up in the IPL,Yuvraj Singh has asked his King's XI team mates to take one game at a time.

The race to the Indian Premier League semifinals seems headed for a thrilling climax and in a bid to avoid getting bogged down by pressure Kings XI Punjab skipper Yuvraj Singh has urged his side to focus on only one match at a time.

Through with 10 of its 14 league matches,Kings XI has managed five wins against an equal number of losses and as the team gears up for the remaining games,Yuvraj wants his men to take it easy and not think too much about the semifinal berth.

“Thinking about the semi-final means taking a lot of pressure,Instead it is important that we look at each day differently and contribute in every game. If we keep playing well,we will definitely make it to the semi-finals. But we need to look only as far as the next match,” Yuvraj told reporters here. Relieved after Kings XI pulled off a thrilling three-wicket win over Deccan Chargers yesterday,Yuvraj said the triumph would have come easier if the team had fielded better.

“It’s always important that everybody contributes. We let a lot of runs be scored today. If we had fielded better we could have restricted them to a manageable total,” he said.

The explosive left-hander said he was happy with his own form, having scored a couple of fifties in the tournament. “I think my form’s been pretty good. I don’t mind getting out or getting runs as long as the team is winning,I am fine

with my form,” he said.
