We’ll not move troops from Indo-Pak border: Pak minister

Pak Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira said that Zardaris recent statement on India was reported out of context.

The Pakistan leadership seems to lack consensus when it comes to talking about the countrys relations with India,with the Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira saying that President Asif Ali Zardaris statement that India was no more a threat for Pakistan,was blown out of context.

Addressing a joint press conference with the ISPR spokesman,Major General Athar Abbas in Islamabad,Kaira asserted that Zardaris statement was reported out of context,and what he really meant was that there was no immediate threat of war.

When enquired about Indias involvement in terror activities inside Pakistan and claims about New Delhi arming militants in tribal areas,Kaira said Islamabad can not comment on it,as it does not have enough proof regarding it.

We will not only raise the issue but will also take an appropriate action when a solid evidence is in hand. The government is behaving responsibly, The Dawn quoted Kaira,as saying.

Kaira also ruled out any possibility of shifting its troops from the eastern Indian border to the western border with Afghanistan.

We cannot and will not do it. Pakistan could not remain oblivious to the conventional threat, he said.
