BANGALORE, January 20: The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board is to take steps to cut off the huge inflow of sewage and sullage into the once scenic Ulsoor Lake in the heart of the city, breathing fresh hope of life into the natural heritage. The project, which envisages an expense of Rs 4 crore, suggests the removal of the slaughter house on Pottery Road from its present location. The BWSSB has also suggested steps to block 11 identified sources of sewage and sullage discharge.
