Proposal for bridge across Ennore creek

CHENNAI, July 30: The Highways Department has proposed to construct a bridge across the Ennore Creek to connect the North Chennai Thermal Power Station (NCTPS) with the rest of Ennore. This would make the approach to NCTPS much easier as at present, one has to travel atleast 20 km to reach the station. However, the implementation of the proposal depends on the acceptance of the build-operate-transfer condition of the TN Government.
