MSEB assures uninterrupted power supply
The Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB) has initiated measures for an uninterrupted power supply in the city and neighboring Pimpri-Chinchwad during the Diwali festival.

Chief Engineer of Pune division A.P. Shinde in a press release said traders and shop owners, while making light decorations should take care to not increase power load against the sanctioned load.

Similarly, flour mills and small scale units should avoid use of the machinery during the peak hours between 6 to 9 p.m.

All the 36 complaint cells of the MSEB will remain open during the stipulated working hours. Telephone numbers of other complaint cells which will remain open for 24 hours are as follows: Central control cell at Ganeshkhind (356008), Rasta Peth (632078), Shivajinagar (323383), Swargate (540623), Deccan Gymnkhana (353307), Wadia College (625777), Kharalwadi Pimpri (773174), Bhosari (790304).
