Pune I-T bids for another record

PUNE, April 29: In a bid live upto its record of a forerunner in comparison to other Income Tax Commissionerates in the country, the Pune region headquarters of I-T Department is leaving no stone unturned to repeat its earlier success of VDIS and filing of returns under Form 2 C.

A 50 seconds film explaining the salient features of acquiring PAN, prepared by the Pune centre in collaboration with National Films Division Corporation is being telecast Mumbai Doordarshan, said Jitaindra Mehra, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Pune region.

Also a five-minute duration film made by the office is being constantly shown on local cable networks in all over Maharashtra in public interest since April 1, he added.
