Daljit Gharuan hopes to croon his way to B-town

This is probably the best time for Punjabi singers as they head towards tinsel town to croon in authentic desi style. And here is another hopeful who claims to make it Bollywood playback soon. Sovi Entertainments has introduced Daljit Gharaun with his album Sohni Lagdi. Interestingly Daljit is a police officer by profession. Parvinder Singh Wraich, director of the album says, “We believe in finding the singers who are not only trained but also sing from the heart. Daljit is highly talented and is enthusiastic as well.” The singer himself says, “I have learnt the intricacies of music from Jaswant Singh Bhamra and OP Gupta.” As for his hopes from the album Daljit shares, “I strongly believe that if I am a good singer then my work will be appreciated. Like any other singer my dream is also to break into movie singing.”
