The banned People’s War militants gunned down four and wounded three others when they opened fire on a gathering in a temple in Bihar’s Jehanabad district, police said on Wednesday. IGP Neelmani said 60-65 PW men raided Mirjapur village under Sakurabad police station on Tuesday night and sprayed bullets on villagers assembled at the temple. One person was killed on the spot, while the bodies of three others were recovered from a nearby field. Those killed were believed to be sympathisers of Ranvir Sena, they added. — (Agencies)
