PWG naxals gunned down

KARIMNAGAR, April 12: Two Naxalites including a woman belonging to the banned PWG were shot dead by one of their guards in the forests of Kalvacherla village today. Later, the killer surrendered himself before the police with an AK-47 and a rifle, police said.

The district committee secretary Vijay Kumar and member Padmakka of the Nagaraju Dalam were sleeping away from other members of the group in the dense forest when one of the guards opened fire at them.
