6 die during Ganesh immersion
MUMBAI: Six persons were killed and 52 injured in separate incidents during the Ganesh immersion processions in different parts of Maharashtra. In Mumbai, two persons were killed and 11 injured in a collision between two trucks and a motorcycle during an immersion procession in Malvani at Malad late last night.

Quake in Iran
TEHRAN: An earthquake shook the southern province of Bushehr late on Friday, causing minor damage, Irna reported on Saturday. The tremor, which measured 5.1 on the Richter Scale, damaged homes in many villages, but no casualties were reported.
