ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will test-fire on Wednesday a newly-developed and more powerful version of its Ghauri missile which can hit targets up to 3,000 kms, thus bringing almost all Indian big cities, including Calcutta, within its range, Urdu daily Ausaf reported on Monday.

EC orders repoll

NEW DELHI: The Election Commission on Monday ordered repolling in 559 polling booths in four states where elections were held on Saturday. Bihar alone accounts for 489 of the polling stations. Repolling will be held in 13 polling booths in MP and 36 in UP.

MUMBAI: Prices of gold biscuit recorded an all time high of this year by touching a new peak of 51,500 per ten tola, while prices of standard mint and 22 carat gold also rose by Rs 170 and Rs 160 per ten gm respectively in a single trading session to Rs 4,400 and Rs 4,070 on Monday.
