Nipamacha ministry wins trust vote

IMPHAL: THE 28-day-old Nipamacha Singh ministry in Manipur Monday won a vote of confidence amidst a protest walkout by opposition Congress saying the Speaker had not responded to their demand of disqualification of the Chief Minister. The confidence vote in favour of Singh was carried by 40 votes to nil with all the 14 Congress members staying away.
