THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The 18-hour bandh called by the Congress-led United Democratic front Opposition in Kerala, in protest against the arrest and detention of former minister M V Raghavan, disrupted normal life but passed off without any major incident. In Kozhencherry in Pathanamthitta district, bandh supporters clashed with the police resulting in injuries to 13 persons including two policemen.
10 die in mishap
NAGPUR: Ten persons, including two women, were killed when a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus collided with a truck near Amdiphata, about 30 kms from here, today. The bus was proceeding to the temple town of Ramtek from Kinwat.
