Patna, Nov 13: RJD president Laloo Prasad Yadav today said his wife and Chief Minister Rabri Devi is ready to prove her majority in the state assembly as and when required.``We have requisite strength of MLAs in the lower house. We can any day prove the majority,'' Yadav told reporters while reacting to a statement issued by the Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee urging Governor Suraj Bhan, to ask the Chief Minister to seek a trust vote afresh.BPCC general secretary Prem Chandra Mishra, had claimed that Rabri had lost majority following the Congress decision not to support her government in the state assembly.Yadav said his party had welcomed the Congress decision snapping ties and there was no threat to the Rabri ministry.The RJD president claimed support of six MLAs each of CPI(M), the Revolutionary Communist Committee of former MP, A K Roy, and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (Mardi), besides 150 MLAs in the 320-member lower house. Asked whether the alliance with the Congress had harmed the prospects ofthe ruling party in the recent Lok Sabha poll, he said it was a matter of the past. ``Now we are engaged in chalking out an effective strategy to sweepthe coming assembly poll in Bihar.The RJD president said Vananchal, the legislation to privatise the insurance industry and Patent Bill will be the main issues for his party during the coming assembly poll.
