NEW DELHI, October 15: On another day of one-sided games in the fifth Nehru girls hockey tournament at National Stadium here today, as many as 33 goals were scored in four matches.

Raj Kishori hogged the limelight, slamming in five goals including a hat-trick, to guide Birsamunda Vidyapitha (Rourkela) drub Rani Paravathi Devi School (Maharashtra) 15-0 to storm into the semifinals. Completing the last four line-up were SGNP School (Shahbad), Government High School (Ranchi) and Government High School (Patna). Apart from Raj Kishori’s five goals, other scorers were Ejren Dadel, Bagamani Tirkey (3 each), Pratima Tirkey (2), Sukanty Pradhan. Powered by a hat-trick from Amrita Minz, Govt H. School (Ranchi) outplayed Usha Bhawan H. School (Manipur) 6-0. Filomina, Nasira Surin, Premsheela were the other goal getters for the Ranchi school. S.G.N.P scored another huge win on their way to the semifinals when they trounced Govt School (Ghuman Hera) 11-0. Suman Bala (3), Meenakashi, Surinder Kaur, Simarjeet, Rajwinder (2 each) were the scorers for the Shahabad school.
