Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray has been banned from holding public meetings in Pune for ten day’s effective from Tuesday.

The prohibitory order under Section 144 (joining unlawful assembly armed with deadly weapon) of IPC was issued to ensure public peace, a senior police officer said today.
