Taking note of complaints of large-scale violence during the polling, the Election Commission today ordered repolling in 25 polling stations in Siwan Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar. RJD leader Mohammad Shahabuddin is seeking re-election from the seat, where he is pitted against JD(U)’s Om Prakash Yadav. The repolling will take place tomorrow.A two-member EC team will also be leaving for Chapra on Sunday. The team would talk to all the candidates contesting from the seat as well as witnesses to the incidents recorded in the complaints, EC sources said.The Commission also ordered that polling in 14 sensitive constituencies in Uttar Pradesh be videographed. The 14 constituencies include Lucknow and Mainpuri from where Prime Minister Vajpayee and Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav are contesting respectively. Videography has also been ordered in Allahabad, where HRD Minister Murli Manohar Joshi is seeking re-election, and Sambhal and Kannauj where Mulayam’s son Akhilesh and brother Ram Gopal Yadav are in the fray. The other constituencies include Baghpat, Etawah, Hathras, Firozabad, Badaun, Banda, Bulandshahr, Meerut and Sitapur.
