SHIMLA, NOV 26: Former chief minister Virbhadra Singh has asked Governor Suraj Bhan not to accept Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal's reccomendation for dissolution of the state Assembly, in case the latter recommends it. Instead, he said, the Chief Minister should resign forthwith as his government has been reduced to minority. Yesterday, six BJP Ministers and MLAs had withdrawn support to Dhumal.Pre-empting any move by Dhumal, Virbhadra Singh is understood to have written a letter to the Governor. Talking to ENS, the CLP leader said he will meeting the Governor tomorrow appraise him of the situation. He maintained that the Congress was in no hurry to precipitate the matter. ``We shall take whatever action is necessary as the situation may warrant,'' he said.Referring to the charges of corruption levelled against the governmentby the ruling combine's ministers and MLAs, the CLP leader it was a vindication of the Congress stand, which had already submitted a chargesheet to the Governor on August 19 and sought CBI probe into the charges.
