Woolmer has suggested that bowlers such as Mohammed Sami and Shoaib Akhtar disappear for a couple of weeks before the start of the triangular series in Amsterdam starting on August 21.
‘‘We have had a look at our schedule and there is time for the players to have a break,’’ he said when discussing the traumatic 17-ball over delivered by Sami against Bangladesh.
‘‘He did come back and finished his spell well, but for the series against India and Australia we need to get into the nets and work on problems like over-stepping as well as length and direction,’’ Woolmer said.
