CHENNAI, OCT 31: Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC-I) general secretary E V K S Elangovan has urged party president Sonia Gandhi to remove state unit president Tindivanam K Ramamurthy from the post.

In a letter to Gandhi, a copy of which was made available to UNI here, Elangovan, who is also an AICC member said the Congress in Tamil Nadu could be rejuvenated only if Ramamurthy was replaced by a dynamic leader.

He also urged her to depute two

high command observers to Tamil Nadu to identify a successor to Ramamurthy after talking to the partymen.
