July 4: The Customs Department has recovered foreign currency worth Rs 12 lakhs concealed in a passenger’s rectum and stomach. The passenger was arrested on July 1 as he was about to board a flight to Dubai. Commissioner of Customs (Preventive) S S Sekhon said the currencies were made into a plastic bundle and capsules.
