CHENNAI, July 4: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has sanctioned Rs 27.15 crore from the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund III for upgrading 197 village roads for a total length of 448.3 km. Two minor bridges at a total cost of Rs 62 lakhs are to be constructed. However, during the year, it is expected that schemes worth Rs 146.25 crore would be sanctioned to the State government under Fund.
