MANGALORE, July 6: A total loss of Rs 6 crore has been reported in Dakshina Kannada due to the heavy monsoon rains. The rain recorded 1,144 cm this year from January 1 to July 5, compared to 744 cm during the corresponding period last year. Five persons are said to have been killed due to the incessant rains.
