CHANDIGARH, Dec 15:Saahir Singh and Prince Dhillon, both of Chandigarh, carded an identical four-over par 76 in the East India Junior and Sub-Junior Golf Championship at the Royal Calcutta Golf Club in Calcutta today. Another Chandigarh golfer Sandy Lehal played five over par 77.

According to information received here, Sankar Das and SK Sasem of Calcutta were leading the field with one over par 73, closely followed by Raghav Jaggi and Ashok Kumar. Two strokes behind the leaders was Arjun Singh and SK Ahmad Ali. Off season camp

The Punjab Cricket Association is organising an off season camp for under-14. According to PCA secretary M P Pandove trials to select 30 probables will be conducted on December 19 and 20.

All district secretaries have been advised to send five to seven outstanding players between the age groups of 12 to 14 from their respective districts for the trials which will be held at PCA Cricket Stadium.

Cash prize cricket

The first ICC Ten-overs-a-side Prize Money cricket tournament will be organised from December 24 at the Sector 40 ground. Entries close on December 20 with Jatinder, Khushboo Sports, Booth No. 194, Sector 15 Rehri Market.

The winners will be richer by Rs. 2100 while the runners-up will take home Rs. 1100.
