SAS NAGAR, Nov 2: Right arm off spinner Sarandeep Singh weaved a web around Services who were struggling to avoid innigns defeat against Punjab on the penultimate day of their four-day North Zone Ranji Trophy match at the PCA Stadium here today. Trailing by 362 runs after Punjab skipper enforced follow-on, the visitors were again reeling at 112 for 5. They still need 240 runs to avoid humiliation.It was Sarandeep's career-best performance as he claimed six wickets for 41 runs in an innings. In the second innings, the Punjab off spinner got three more wickets bringing his tally of wickets to 9 for 67. The highlight of his bowling was seven dismissals in a row, including three in the second innings. His earlier best bowling analysis was 5 for 58 against Hyderabad in Hyderabad in the 1998-99 Super League.Chasing Punjab's first innings huge total of 533 for 6 declared, Services were bundled out for 171 in 77.1 overs.
