The Supreme Court on Friday issued notice to former Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandhak Committee (SGPC) president Bibi Jagir Kaur on a petition seeking cancellation of the bail granted to her in connection with the murder of her daughter eight years ago.The notice came in response to a petition filed by Kanwaljit Singh, who claimed to have married Harpreeet Kaur, Jagir Kaur’s daughter. A Bench comprising Justices Ashok Bhan and Dalveer Bhandari also sought response from the Central Bureau of Investigation, which had filed the chargesheet.
