PUNE, Jan 3: The Computer Society of India and CASE Digital Australia are jointly organising a one-day seminar on `Application Development Trends in the New Millenium’ on January 8 at Pride Hotel to be attended by IT professionals from all over the country.

Santosh Goenka, publisher, The Indian Express, will be the chief guest of the function. He will present new trends in IT for the newspaper industry. The CSI is also organising a function to honour an outstanding IT CEO with the Professional Excellence Award which is being given to LC Singh CEO of ICIL Pune. The seminar will discuss different issues facing IT in the new millennium.

Pune Arya Mahasammelan
Arya Samaj will organise `Pune Arya Mahasammelan’ from January 14 to 17 at Oswal Bandhu Samaj. The programme will start with a Shobha Yatra. Various spiritual and social issues will be discussed at the programme.
