CHANDIGARH, Nov 12: A variety of Chinese dishes were demonstrated at the inauguration of "Healthy cooking sessions on Chinese cuisine" at the Food Craft Institute, Sector 42, today.

Among the mouth-watering dishes were Minchow soup, hot-n-sour soup, crispy spring rolls, chilli cheese, vegetable manchurian, chilli chicken, vegetable hakka noodles and almond drops with chow chow. Today’s two sessions were conducted by Jatinder Thakur and P. Mukherjee. The session was inaugurated by Home Secretary Anuradha Gupta.

Over 750 participants enrolled for the four sessions to be conducted on November 12 and 13. Mahesh Khaitan, Technical Director, Amrit Banaspati Company talked about using correct cooking oil in the right quantity for maximum health benefits.
