
ISLAMABAD, APRIL 14: The Sindh High Court has fixed April 18 for the primary hearing of an appeal filed on behalf of deposed Pakistani premier Nawaz Sharif against the judgment of the anti-terrorism court in the Pakistan International Airlines hijacking case in which Sharif was sentenced to life imprisonment while six others were acquitted.
The appeal was filed by Sharif’s defence lawyer Azizullah Shaikh.
In the meantime, the government was also preparing an appeal against the acquittal of the others.
