CHANDIGARH, Dec 6: Shiv Pal Singh beat VK Sachdeva 48-33, 48-38, 56-30, in the 16th Chandigarh State billiards and snooker championship being played at the Chandigarh Billiards Coaching Centre in Sector 22. Shiv Pal will take on G.B. Singh in the next round of the meet.Rajeev Bhardwaj handed a 3-1 drubbing to Aman Kashyap while Judge Bali went down fighting to Shiven 1-3.In another match, Pranab Jain beat Vishal Gupta 45-33, 57-31, 39-24, 48-43. Kamal Kant also scored a victory over AD Singh at 106-30, 67-46, 81-15. Ajay Chandel got the better of Romi Sekhon 49-3, 62-6, 72-14.In billiards, Manav Dhawan lost to Ashok Sharma 271-355. Ashu Duggal outplayed Pradeep Kinger 395-302.
