NASHIK, JAN 12: The city unit of the Shiv Sena led by its president Datta Gaikwad staged a rasta roko at Bytoo Chowk, Nashik Road, and burnt an effigy of Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan, who had demanded the arrest of Sena chief Bal Thackeray.
Fifteen protesters were taken in by the police. Imran had recently demanded that Thackeray be arrested for opposing the entry of the Pakistani cricket team in India and for instigating Sainiks to damage the cricket pitch on the Kotla grounds in Delhi.
