SAI selection trials
The Sports Authority of India (SAI), Training Centre, Mumbai, will hold selection trials on February 22 and 23 for the academic year 1999-2000 in athletics, hockey (men and women) and wrestling.
Eligible candidates should report to Salil Bhatnagar, Asst. Director, SAI, Training Centre, Akurli Road, Kandivli (East), Mumbai 400 101. Tel: 887 6059 on February 21 at 3.00 p.m. with original certificates of age, qualifications and achievements alongwith two passport size photographs.
Soo Lee to visit city
Grandmaster Sung Soo Lee, 9th degree black belt in Taekwondo and Hapkido, will be visiting Mumbai to conduct the training seminar in the city. This is the first time that one of the highest ranking grandmaster of Korean martial arts will be visiting the city.
Grandmaster Lee will conduct the training seminar from February 12 to 14 at the University Stadium, Marine Lines. The seminar is open to the martial artist of all styles and arts. For details Tel: 309 7845.
