Kanga League venues altered

The venues of the following matches in the Dr HD Kanga League are changed from their original venues “due to unavoidable circumstances”, according to a release from the Mumbai Cricket Association.

The Indian Gymkkhana vs Young Star has been shifted to Young Zorastrian Azad Maidan; the Parel Sporting v Star CC game to Azad Maidan, and the Maharashtra Young v Canara Vijay game to Wankhede Stadium.

The Matunga Gymkhana State Ranking table tennis tournament, offering prize money of Rs 60,000, is to be held at the Gymkhana’s premises in central Mumbai from July 20-24. The entries close at 1800 hours on July 15.

School football

The MSSA-Colgate Inter-School football tournaments for boys under-16 years and under-14 years will commence from July 15.

Matches will be played at School Sports Centre, Azad Maidan; St Xavier’s ground, Parel, and Holy Family School, Andheri. Fixtures are available at MSSA office from July 12, between 10.00 a.m.to 1.00 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.

Bowling league

The Bowling Company open league competition will commence from July 12 at the Bowling Company, Phoenix Garden, Phoenix Mills compound, 462 Senapati Bapat Marg, Lower Parel, Mumbai 400 013. The games will be played from 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
