England drop catches, waste good start
England’s lack of athleticism and sure-handed fielders was always going to hurt at some point in this Ashes series, but it was a surprise that it took less than one day for reality to hit home. Two reasonably straight-forward catches reprieved a couple of Australia’s renowned fighting cricketers and literally left England gasping for air as the sun set on the first day of the first Test at Gabba with Australia on 246 for five.

Pakistan win
Yousaf (55 not out) steered Pakistan to a four-wicket victory over Zimbabwe. Yohanna shared crucial stands with his captain Aamir Sohail and Moin Khan to pull Pakistan out of trouble.
