Sunita and Poonam (both of SKV, Raj Nagar) finishged first and second, respectively, in the senior girls 800 metre event in the athletic meet of district South-west zone-21 at GHPS, Vasant Vihar. Naina Tara of Vasant Valley clinched the third place.

The ninth Surjit Kaur memorial open table tennis tournament will be organised at Talkatora indoor stadium from October 28 to November 1.
