AFS sports meet
Prerana Mamgain (gold medal in 100m and long jump) and Khushboo Arora (gold in 80m and silver in broad jump) were among prominent students to emerge victorious on the first day of The Air Force School, Subroto Park sports day. Robert (1,500m) and Ashish Reddy (600m) were the other gold medal winners.

Public sector cricket
The sixth inter-central public sector cricket tournament will be organised by the National Capital Power Station of NTPC at Vidut Nagar and Ghaziabad from December 5 to 9. Leading power sector companies, including NTPC, NEEPC, NHPC, FGCIL, DVC, THDC, BBM, CEA and REC will take part.

In another match of division C, Malik Sports prevailed over Shahdara Sports by five wickets at Yamuna Sports complex. Moinuddin (64) was the most successful batsman for the winners while Ajay Kumar (38) was the top scorer for the losers.
