
Kochar, Gambhir shine for Gemini
Fine spell of bowling by Sandeep Kochar (4 for 30) and a fine knock of 78 (9×4, 1×6) by left-handed Gautam Gambhir helped Gemin Cluib beat Punjab National Bank by 50 runs in the second Hari Singh Tyagi TYCA league at Yamuna sports complex. The winners earned eight points for the victory.
Gambhir added 91 runs for the second wicket with 11-year-old Karan Harit (14). Sidharth Verma (41 not out: 4×4) was the other principal scorer as Gemini made 209 for six in 35 overs. PNB were restricted to 159 for six, Sandeep Kochar causing the maximum damage.
