The 33rd Statesman Vintage and Classic car rally will be flagged off by the Chief of the Army Staff VP Malik on Feb 7 at 9 am from Statesman House, Barakhamba Road.

Delhi Ranji squad
Ajay Sharma will lead the Delhi cricket team in the super league and knock-out stage Ranji trophy. The other members of the team are: Vijay Dahiya (vice captain), Ashu Dani, Akash Chopra, Rajneesh Chopra, Mithun Manhas, Virender Sehwag, Akash Malhotra, Devender Sharma, Robin Singh Jr, Amit Bhandari, Rahul Sanghvi, Pankaj Joshi, Ashish Nehra, Sandeep Angurala, Nikhil Chopra.

CWC triumph
Central Warehousing Corporation prevailed over Ashirwad club by 35 runs in the second Hari Singh Tyagi TYCA league at Yamuna sports complex. Amreesh Gautam (81) and Rajeev Venaik (53) were the main contributors for the CWC. Kapil Mehta (44) and Vikas Sharma (36) were the top scorer for the Ashirwad.

Rakesh, Pranav shine
Unbeaten knocks by Rakesh Rawat (63) and Pranav Mudgul (58) guided SB Youth beat Delhi Administration by 10 wickets in A-I division match of DDCA league at Shanti Sport Complex.

Brief Scores: SB Youth: 137 for no loss (Rakesh Rawat 63 not out, Pranav Mudgal 58 not out) bt Delhi Administration: 137 all out (Mohan Singh 33, Ombir Singh 21, Harender Rawat 3 for 35).

Selection trials
All India Civil Services inter-ministry athletics and kabbadi selection trials will be held at Central Secretariat ground, Vinay Marg (athletics) at 2 pm on February 2 and at Brassey Avenue Sports Complex (kabbadi) at 2 pm on February 1.

Dura Cell triumph
Dura Cell overcame ISPL Bhavadi by six wickets in a low-scoring match of the Gillette Cup tournament.
