Akhil Goel shines
An inspired bowling spell (5 for 27) by Akhil Goel and a half century by Deepak Goel helped Maharaja Agarsen Cricket Academy beat R.P. Cricket Academy by 21 runs in a three-match series.

Batting first MACA made 178 for nine in their allotted 40 overs which Deepak knocking off 56. Ansul Mittal was the most successful bowler with four scalps. In reply, RPCA, however, folded making just 157 in the 31st over, thanks to the deadly spell by Akhil. Neeraj Gautam was the topscorer with 52. Praveen Aggarwal chipped in with two wickets.

Brief scores: MACA: 178/9 in 40 overs (Deepak Goel 56, Mohit Kumar 23, Sachin 22, Anshul Mittal 4/27) beat RP Cricket Academy: 157 in 30.4 overs (Neeraj Gautam 52, Tajinder Singh 33, Akhil Goel 5/27, Praveen Aggarwal 2/37).

Jawahar tourney venue shifted
The Jawahar Singh memorial cricket tournament has been rescheduled to be held from July 20, instead of July 17 as announced earlier, owing to the unavailability of the ground. Now the tournament will be held at Village Ghitorni ground. For entry contact Rambeer Singh Lohia (Ph: 6501316, 6501538). The winners stand to gain Rs. 75,000 while the runners-up Rs. 41,000.
