July: Shiv Kumar of Maharashtra and Vitender Singh of Jagatjit Cotton Textiles Mills are the only two civilian bodybuilders to find berth in the nine-member senior Indian team which will participate in the Asian and World Bodybuilding Championship in South Korea and Czech Republic respectively.
The Asian Championship will be held in Seoul from August 21 to 25 while the world championship will be held from November 5-10 at Prague.
The senior team along with a three-member junior and a sole entry for masters was selected in the selections trials which was completed last Saturday.
The junior Asian event will be held concurrently in Seoul while the junior world event and the Masters will take place in Budapest, Hungary from October 24-28.

Junior Asian and World: Bhakta kumar (under-70 kgs, Services), Bobby Singh (over 70 kgs, Manipur), and Lakhbir singh (over 70 kgs, Punjab).
Seniors: TV Pauly (60 kgs), RN Burman (70 kgs), VN Shaji (80 kgs) and MS Mohanan (85 kgs) all from Services, Nagesh Prasad (65 kgs), Deepak Das (70 kgs), and Sunil Aptekar (90 kgs) all from Railways, Shiva Kumar (70 kg) Maharashtra and Vitender Singh (75 kgs) from JCT.

Hearing put off to July 23
The Mumbai hearing of the one-man panel headed by Justice Y V Chandrachud, appointed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to enquire into cricket betting and match-fixing charges, has been put off to July 23.
Justice Chandrachud was to commence a two-day sitting here on Wednesday but it has been put off by a week.
The former Chief Justice of India had held a one-day hearing in New Delhi last week during which former Indian all-rounder Manoj Prabhakar, who alleged in a magazine article that an attempt was made to bribe him to tank a match in a previous edition of the Asia Cup held in Sri Lanka, deposed before him.
Former India captain Kapil Dev also deposed before Justice Chandrachud at the Delhi sitting.
Duleep Trophy schedule
The final of the Duleep Trophy championship, to be played in South Zone centres, is to be held at Chennai from December 17-21.
East Zone would clash with North Zone at Hyderabad from December 1-5 in the opening match of the knock-out competition. The winners of this quarter-final tie would meet holders Central in semi-final at Bangalore from December 9-13.
The other semi-final, to be held simultaneously, pits West against South and is to hosted by Andhra Cricket Association.
The Deodhar Trophy one-day league competition is to be held at different South Zone centres, including Kerala and Goa, from December 25 to January 10.

Powerlifting meet at Andheri
The Amateur Powerlifting Association, Mumbai Suburbs will be organising the West Zone and Maharashtra Senior championships for men and women at Andheri Sports Complex on July 18 and 19. These championships have been sponsored by Bombay Paints.
