The Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) will conduct a national Human Resource Development (HRD) seminar on `Human Performance Technology – Methods and Applications’ on September 18 and 19 at the National Film Archive of India (NFAI).
Arvind Sharma, managing director, Chaitra Leo Burnett will inaugurate the seminar while Manab Bose, director, HR and corporate affairs, Tata Industries will deliver the key note address. A host of speakers including Mani Bharadwaj, executive director, Pricewater House Coopers, Pritha Chatterjee, general manager, HR, EIH and others will deliver lectures.
Speakers will elucidate on the technologies designed to enhance human performance and capabilities at the workplace. Panel discussions will deliberate on the ever increasing trend of outsourcing HR functions. Under the topic Virtual HR, speakers will throw light on the use of resources such as the Internet, corporate intranets and other technologies used by the Human Resource professionals.
