Set to flag off the first non-stop flight from Delhi to New York in a month’s time, national carrier Air India will induct a state-of-the-art Boeing 777-200LR on the route. The 238-seater aircraft will have eight seats in First Class, 35 in Executive and 195 in Economy. The non-stop flight to New York comes within months of their direct flights from Mumbai to New York which took off from August, 2007. Meanwhile, low cost carrier Deccan Air today announced new flight services between Kolkata and Jaipur. To be launched from January 15, the route will have an Airbus 320 plying. Fares for these routes starts from Rs 500 onwards excluding taxes and surcharge.
