NEW DELHI, December 22: Fine all-round display by Himachal Ranji player Nischal Gaur (3 for 34 and 28) helped South Delhi beat Madras Club by three wickets to enter the final of 21st Shiv Kumar memorial tournament at Ramjas sports complex here.
Electing to bat, Madras Club scored 159, thanks to useful contributions from Virender Sehwag (34: 5×4, 1×6, 34b) and No. 9 batsman Subhash Chaudhary (37: 5×4, 37b).
In reply, South Delhi’s opening pair of Rajesh Bora and Gaur put on 55 runs in 15 overs. In the final over bowled by Sehwag, South Delhi scored the required 13 runs.

Sanghvi injured

Devender Sharma (batsman), Sanjeev Chauhan (bowler) and Hanish Arora (man of the tournament) were given special awards.
